As a former apprentice at Manchester City FC, graduate of the MBA (Football Industries), Performance Manager at League Football Education and Consultant at a leading sports management consultancy, Dave has extensive experience and contacts in the sports industry.
His experience of working with elite sports, national governing bodies and the private and public sectors have provided him with strong commercial, project management, communication, networking and leadership skills.
Dave’s recent key achievements include:
- Accessing in excess of €1,500,000 of European Commission Erasmus+ funding on behalf of a range of organisations, including the Premier League, England Basketball, the LTA and the Football League Trust.
- Appointed to the SkillsActive Active Consultancy network to provide specialist advice to SkillsActive’s UK-wide network of employers, training providers and key stakeholders.
- Supporting Basketball England in its 2013-2017 strategic planning process.
- Management of a £280,000, government funded project to deliver online Functional Skills learning materials that use the inspiration of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
- Management of a project to implement performance analysis software at English Football League clubs and develop a university accredited performance analysis qualification.
